The aim for this recently completed Cotswold Garden on the outskirts of Bath was to tie in a small rear garden with some recently purchased land beyond the hedgerow, tripling the size of the plot. Bringing down the boundary hedge was just the first step.

We worked with the clients and studio consultants to ensure everything ran smoothly over the multiple phases of the build.

The idea was simple, to create a journey from the house to the newly install artist studio with a soft and organic approach.

The plant selection binds the old and the new together with repetition and form while also exposing various hidden areas for growing, dining and relaxing.
