Exterior Design Studio were approached by a local golf course to help transform their 1st Tee for both the Mens and Ladies from a blank, unmemorable space to a welcoming arrival that tells a story of the surrounding landscape character. The Cotswold stone walling with integrated oak seating frames the Tees and the specimen Beehive Beeches soften the edges blending it into the well managed golfing landscape.

The approach was simple but effective, it not only adds a new sense of arrival at the start of the golf round but will also stand the test of time with the use of tried and tested natural materials.

The original context was based on the local landscape and to source material from nearby suppliers, quarries and growers.
